My website (this website), an ongoing construction. An excuse to learn (html, css, a tiny bit of javascript), and a place to put things so I can stop worrying about losing them. After that, the realisation of the new connections that emerge from bringing into one room¹ work that might not otherwise be acquainted.

Inspired by the handmade web² movement (and constrained by my technical abilities), the website uses only basic code. Elements are included close to their most raw form with minimal styling, and simple user interactions provide a sense of reciprocity to visitors without asking them for too much. Final drawings, photographs and text sit against a wallpaper of sketches and other process work. A celebration of the making of a thing as much as the completed product, like flipping through a sketchbook.

The website rewards careful looking and only functions on larger computer screens, not on mobile. It asks visitors to take some time out of their day to explore, not just a quick scroll.
